This document contains VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding your rights and obligations, as well as conditions, limitations, and exclusions that might apply to you. Please read it carefully.
1. These terms and conditions (these "Terms") apply to the sale and purchase of products and services through [https://sonyworld.eg (the "Website") by Audio Technology, (referred to as “Audiotec” "us", "we", or "our" as the context may require) to consumer (referred to as “consumer”, “user” or “you”). Any changes to these Terms will be in effect as of the "Last Updated Date" referenced on the Website. You should periodically review these Terms prior to purchasing any product that are available through this Website.
Only persons who can enter into a legally binding contract are eligible to purchase using the Website. If you are a minor, (i.e. under the age of 18 years) you may purchase using the Website only through your parent’s or guardian’s consent or supervision.
The user agrees, understands and acknowledges that the Website is an online platform that enables you to access information and purchase products listed on the Website at the price indicated therein at any time from any location. Your access, use and any purchases made through the Website are subject to and shall constitute your acceptance of the following these Terms. If you do not agree to theseTerms, please exit from the Website.
In addition, by agreeing to these Terms, you are also agreeing to the collection of personal information through the Website in accordance with these Terms and Sony Privacy Policy available at: https://sonyworld.eg/pages/privacy-policy (“Sony Privacy Policy”)
In this agreement, “Sony” means Sony Market Development MEA FZCO.
2. Your Account and Access to Website:
In order to make any online purchase, you need to place an Order through the Website by giving certain personal identification information. It is your responsibility to ensure that the username and password to access the Website is kept confidential. If you have any reason to believe that your username and password is being, or is likely to be used by third parties, you should inform us. We shall have the right to refuse access, terminate or remove the account or edit the contents at any time without notice.
The right to use or access the Website granted to you is a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right for personal use of the Website. You are not authorized to (i) modify the Website (ii) download or copy account information for the benefit of another seller (iii) utilize data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. You must use the Website for lawful purposes only and must not use for fraudulent or other unlawful activity.
3. Orders, Promotions, Price, Payment & Deliveries:
The order placed by you through the Website shall be deemed an offer from you to buy the product(s) specified as per the order from Audiotec (“Order”). On receipt of the Order, the Website will automatically generate an e-mail confirming receipt of the Order. Your receipt of Order by Audiotec is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your Order and does not constitute an acceptance of your Order by Audiotec.
Audiotec lists availability information for products on the Website. Please note that the stock situation changes dynamically, you will be informed by e-mail or by call if any product(s) you have ordered is/are out of stock for any reason and an estimated availability date will be provided. Subject to availability of the product(s) ordered, Audiotec will confirm its acceptance by e-mail or by call confirming the dispatch of the product(s) to your address as specified on your Order (“Order Acceptance”). The Order shall be deemed as accepted by Audiotec on your receipt of Order Acceptance, failing which, the Order will be cancelled.
You shall have the right to cancel your Order any time prior to your receipt of Order Acceptance without any liability. Any cancellation after receipt of Order Acceptance shall be subject to reimbursement of certain charges (“Cancellation Charges”) to cover the cost of expenses (including shipment charges) incurred by Audiotec.
The prices and delivery terms specified on the Website are of ex-Audiotec's warehouse, Egypt; these include the cost of usual packing; and are inclusive of all taxes and duties. You shall be responsible for payment of all charges associated with the purchase of products from us and you shall agree to bear all applicable taxes/VAT levied thereon.
You shall pay for Order in advance, either through third party secured payment gateway facilities (“PayMob”) or, if you choose Cash on Delivery option as specified in Section 13, at the time of actual delivery of the product at your doorstep.
The prices and specifications of all products listed on are subject to change without prior notice owing to stock availability and promotional support from Sony. Hence prices may vary on advertising material and at time of purchase due to market changes.
All prices are valid till stocks and/or offers last.
The delivery of the products shall be made either directly by Audiotec’s or through third party courier/logistic services providers on all days except on Egypt public holidays. Our liability for the product(s) sold stops and the risk passes on to you on delivery to you or to the third-party courier/logistic services providers. Consequently, any expense, damage or loss occurring during transportation shall be at our risk.
4. Exchange & Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at noreply@audioteceg.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to Merghany Store.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, We also do not accept returns of damaged boxes or not sealed items.
Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
You have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.
As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

5. Warranty Terms & Conditions
The products displayed on Website carry limited warranty from Audiotec for a limited period against manufacturing defects only. The terms, conditions, duration of warranty, exclusions of warranty shall be as per warranty card attached with each product. Warranty commences from the date of purchase, unless specified otherwise.
Warranty is applicable within the limits of Egypt only unless specified otherwise in the warranty card or on the Website. In the case the product is defective and/or requires repair, it is your responsibility to deliver the product, at your cost, to our designated collection centres in selected Audiotec Showrooms and Service Centers in Egypt.
In the case of Dead-on Arrival (DOA) product(s) / Out of the Box failure, the respective service center/service provider will determine whether the product is DOA and will offer either a replacement or product repair at its discretion.
Other than what is provided in this Terms, we hereby expressly disclaim any warranties or representations (express or implied) in respect of quality, suitability, accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, performance, safety, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or legality of the products listed or displayed or transacted (including product information and/or specifications) on the Website.
6. Limitations of Liability
The total liability of Audiotec and Sony on any claim, whether in contract, warranty; tort, product liability; and copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent and other intellectual property rights infringement; or otherwise, arising out of, connected with, or resulting from the performance or non-performance of any agreement resulting here from the sale, delivery resale, repair, replacement or use of any product or the furnishing of any service, shall not exceed the price allocable to the product or service which gives rise to the claim.
In no event, whether as a result of product defect/malfunction, breach of contract, warranty; tort; copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent and other intellectual property infringement or otherwise, shall Audiotec or Sony be liable for any special, consequential, incidental, indirect or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, loss of profit, loss of use of the products, cost of substitute goods.
7. Trademarks, Intellectual Properties and Copyright Notice
All of the content on the Website, including but not limited to Sony trademarks, page headers, images, illustrations, graphics, logos, text are subject to trademark, service mark, copyright and other intellectual property rights or licenses are owned by or licensed to Sony and/or its affiliates. The content of this Website is a copyright work under Egypt and International copyright laws, and Sony and/or its affiliates owns a copyright in the selection, coordination, arrangement, modification and derivative matter of the content.
The content of this Website is meant only for personal and non-commercial use. Contents may be downloaded and printed only for personal use and not for any commercial purpose; posting of the content on any network computer or media without license from Sony and/or its affiliates is prohibited; as is changing, altering or modifying the content in any copyright or trademark notice.
8. Product Visuals
While we endeavour to place appropriate pictures of the products, it must be understood that that the actual pictures, colour, dimensions and other may not actually reflect the original product's colour, dimensions and other of the original product. The pictures shown here therefore are taken as being placed for illustrative purpose only and also change from time to time without prior notice.
9. Privacy Policy
You agree and accept that Sony and Audiotec collects, uses and discloses personal information that you provided through the Website in accordance with the terms of Sony Privacy Policy. Sony may amend or change such Privacy Policy without notice to you at any time at its discretion.
10. Reviews, Comments, Communications and Other Content
You may post reviews, comments and other content; send communications; and submit suggestions, ideas, questions or other information, as long as the content is not illegal, abusive, defamatory or infringing of intellectual property rights and does not contain software viruses or any form of spam. Sony reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove, delete or edit any content that in our sole judgement violates these Terms of use and/or terminate your permission to access or use the Website.
If you do post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise, you (a) grant Audiotec, Sony and their affiliates a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual rights to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media; and (b) grant Audiotec, Sony and their affiliates and agents the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
By accessing and using the Website; and purchasing online, you agree that your access and use of the Website, online purchasing is subject to these Terms, as well as all applicable laws, as governed and interpreted pursuant to the laws of UAE.
Dubai Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction on all issues arising out of any issue related to copyright, intellectual property right, liability, access, usage and purchase through the Website.
13. COD (Cash on Delivery) and Click & Collect
If you are not comfortable making an online payment on Sony World - Egypt through PayMob, you can opt for the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method instead. With COD you can pay in cash at the time of actual delivery of the product at your doorstep, without requiring you to make any advance payment online.
Alternatively, you can also place an Order online and avail the Click & Collect facility by collecting the ordered items in any of the specified Audiotec Stores across Egypt. Note: 1. Click & Collect does not apply to Products that require Installation. 2. Click & Collect cannot be clubbed with COD.
14. Bulk Order / Dealer Order Fulfilment is conditional.
Audiotec retail focuses to service the end consumers, and in such objectives, our priority is to fulfil orders of the end users over dealers and bulk buyers. This means we may choose to cancel or delay any Order placed in bulk by the dealer or release part orders as per our stock availability. Even if the bulk order is prepaid using a credit card, this Order would be cancelled and the money would be refunded within 10 - 15 working days. We regret any inconvenience to dealers and bulk buyers, as this is the retail business model. We are happy to service bulk buyers wherever possible.
